Susan J. (Murray) Charest, 73, of New Bedford died September 15, 2021 at St. Luke's Hospital.
She was the wife of the late Alfred J. Charest.
Born in New Bedford, daughter of the late Arthur R. and Pearl L. (Stringer) Murray, she lived in New Bedford all of her life.
Survivors include her son, Steven Alves of Taunton; a brother, Brian Murray of New Bedford; a sister, Sandra Watkins and her husband Benjamin of New Bedford; 3 grandchildren, Paige, Matt and Steven; 3 great-grandchildren, Maeley and Tayber Martins and Nehemiah Rodriguez; and 2 nieces.
She was the mother of the late Robert Alves and the sister of the late Bradley Murray.
