Jose Adalberto Mieses, age 58 of Brockton, died Sunday September 12, 2021 at Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge after a period of failing health. He was born in La Vega, Dominican Republic, a son of Fabio Mieses and Ana Celia Garcia. He was a resident of Brockton since 1986 after living in Boston for several years.
Jose was a graduate of Boston English High School and earned an associate degree from Newbury College. For many years, Jose was a property manager in the Brockton area and worked as a customer service representative in the automobile sales industry.
A kind and loving person, Jose donated his time and service to family and others before himself. He was very involved with St. Patrick Parish and their community projects. Jose also enjoyed Latin music and dancing.
In addition to his parents, Jose is survived by his sons Alvin Mieses and Christopher Mieses both of Ohio and a granddaughter Mia Mieses. He was the brother of Marcos Mieses, Eddy Mieses, Nadiuska Mieses, Ana Luisa Mieses and Solange Mieses all of Massachusetts.
Visitation will be held on Thursday September 16, 2021 from 6-8 pm in St. Patrick Church 335 Main Street, Brockton, MA 02301. Funeral Mass in the church on Friday September 17, 2021 at 9 am. Private burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery.
