Worcester: Ileana Rosado, age 36, passed away unexpectedly on September 7, 2021 in Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital.
She leaves her daughter Amayha Powell; her fiancé Marcus Powell; her father Abraham Rosado and stepmom Nidia Rosado; her three (3) sisters Tamika, Daisy, and Cristina; and her brother Anthony; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother Yolanda Carlo.
“Chewy”, as she was affectionately known, was born in Bronx, New York and graduated from Burncoat Sr. High School. Always the free spirit, she worked in many different places over the years, including Astra Pharmaceuticals as a Production Operator. She especially loved singing and cooking and enjoyed camping, fishing, and going to the beach. She always enjoyed the company of her family and friends. Her big hugs and kisses will truly be missed…
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2021 from 1-4 p.m. in Nordgren Memorial Chapel 300 Lincoln St. Worcester. A funeral service will follow at 4:00 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ileana's memory may be made to support the start of her young daughter’s trust fund.
