Camille Joan Jarvis, a devoted mother and compassionate soul, passed away at her home after a valiant struggle with myelofibrosis on September 10, 2021, at 9:30 PM. She was 76 years old.
Camille was born on January 23, 1945, in McKeesport, PA where she met her former husband, Richard Jarvis. They lived and raised a family in PA and MI before finally settling down in Boxford, MA, where Camille remained for close to 40 years. She is survived by her three children: Janine Jarvis of FL, Christopher Jarvis of CA, and Ryan Jarvis of MA.
She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Anna Petraitis, as well as her brothers, Adrian Petraitis, Delano Petraitis, and Donald Petraitis.
Camille loved beautiful things and had excellent taste. She poured her heart into decorating the perfect home, filled with warmth and comfort. She had immense creativity and enjoyed making various arts and crafts. She was also an avid reader and deeply thoughtful and philosophical. Although she was fiery and passionate at times, her sensitivity inspired her to spread love and kindness to whomever she met. She was determined to live on her own terms, and she will be deeply missed. At Camille’s request, no service will be held.
