George Deligiannides of Newton a retired draftsman died Sat Apr. 8, 2006 at his home. He was 80.
Born in Greece he came to Brighton in 1963 and had been a resident of Newton since 1967. He served with the NATO forces during WW II and worked for many years as a auto mechanic.
He is survived by his wife Agapi (Frangoulidis) Deligiannides, his daughters Erietta Baxter and her husband Robert of Bedford and Julie Deligiannides of Newton. He is also survived by 3 sisters.
A funeral service will be held on Thurs Apr 13 at 10:30 AM in the Greek Evangelical Church 1115 Centre St. Newton Centre. Interment will follow at The Gardens at Gethsemane in West Roxbury. Visiting hours will be in the Eaton & Mackay Funeral Home 465 Centre St. NEWTON CORNER. On Wed from 7-9 PM.
