Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved daughter, Kyla Chantel Evora Brito. Kyla, was called home on Friday, September 3, 2021. She was14 years old, born on November 28, 2006. Kyla was born in Boston and later moved to the North Shore area where she was just starting her freshman year of high school. Kyla, was the daughter of Janine Evora and Carlos Brito. In addition to her parents, Kyla is survived by her siblings, Arielle Correia, Krishna Brito, Carlos Junior Brito, and Sofia Brito. She was the granddaughter Oldgar (Gui) Brito and Alda Brito and Bevindo Evora and Maria Barbosa. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Kyla loved to sing and play the guitar. You could say music was her passion. She also enjoyed drawing and spending time with her loved ones. Kyla brought so much love and joy in our lives and to those who were around her. She had an energy that with even just one encounter with her, you would remember her for life. Kyla had the most beautiful smile, a smile that could light up your soul.

“Kyla my daughter, I can picture you as such a beautiful angel. You’re smile, your gorgeous curly hair, your laugh, your warm hugs and kisses. When we meet again, we will run to you with arms open wide. I can hear you reading this in heaven now. Nothing can separate the love we have for each other. Because of this, we will always be connected. We love you baby.” -Janine Evora

Kyla Chantel Evora Brito will continue to stay with us through all our memories.
