HOLDERNESS --- Betty Marion Dempsey, 89, passed away at her home, on Saturday, August 28, 2021.
Betty was born on February 14, 1932, in New Haven, CT, the daughter of Frederick Frost and Gladys (Miller) Butts.
It’s hard to say goodbye, for we have been so blessed to have such a wonderful, loving mother. Betty Dempsey has been laid to rest. She died peacefully with her children by her side. She was very loving and loved by so many.
She leaves behind her daughters, Kathy and Beth, sons Ken (Stephanie) and Don (Laura); and her brother Charles (Eileen). She also leaves behind grandchildren, Tyler (Heather), Becky, Sarah, Max, Bryanne (Jesse), Michael, Ashlyn, Jett, Jackie (Jay), and Colt. She also cherished her many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Betty was predeceased by her husband, Max, and her daughters Judith (John) Curd, and Janine Duvall.
The family will be having a private memorial service.
