Mr. Daniel E. Laroche, a resident of Medford and beloved husband of Marietta (O’Brien) Laroche, passed away at the Beth Israel Hospital in Boston on September 6, 2021 He was 64 years old.
Born in Somerville, Massachusetts, on January 8, 1957 he was the beloved son of Irvin E., Sr. and Janice M. (Muse) Laroche. Daniel was an Electrician for many years. In his spare time he enjoyed softball, shooting pool and hockey. He was also a member of the Medford Elks and always enjoyed helping out whether it’s bringing food to the Medford Firefighters etc. He will be dearly missed.
Besides his beloved wife, Marietta and parents, Irvin and Janice, he is survived by his loving children; Daniel E. and Kevin W. Laroche, both of Medford and Jamie Lee Cowan of Middleboro, siblings; Laura J. Laroche of Malden and Irvin E. Laroche, Jr. of Malden and grandchildren; Ada and Connor Also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Frank Irvin and William Clifford Laroche.
His funeral will be held from the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Avenue, Medford on Monday, September 13, 2021, at 9 AM followed by a Mass of Christian burial celebrated in the Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant Street, Malden at 10 AM. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday from 3 to 7 PM. Interment will be privately held.
