Albert J. Lino, a long-time Medford resident and retired machinist, died Thursday at Kindred Hospital, Peabody. He was 83.
Mr. Lino was born and raised in East Boston, the son of the late John and the late Mary (Derose) Lino. Albert worked as a machinist for Hancock Machine, Wakefield. In his retirement he worked part-time at Johnny’s Foodmaster in Medford.
He was the beloved husband of Rosalie (Ferrera) Lino. He was a devoted father to John and his wife Barbara of Tewksbery, Joseph and his wife Frances of Malden, Deborah Gaglione and her husband Jerry of Medford. He was a loving grandfather of Mellisa, John, Jr., Michael, Jessica, Nicole, Jerry and loving great-grandfather of Olivia. He was a dear brother to John Lino of Winthrop, the late Henry, Louie, Mary Ministreri, Theresa Quatarone and Lena Poirier.
His funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Tuesday at 8 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High Street, Medford, at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 . Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
