SPRINGFIELD ~ Ryan M. “Raul” David, 37, of Springfield was Called Home on Wednesday, September 1, 2021. He was born in Schenectady, New York on April 12, 1984 where he was raised and lived until moving to Springfield. Raul enjoyed trying his luck with scratch tickets and loved going on “adventures” with his dad, George. He especially enjoyed Bright Nights, trips to the Mohawk Trail and going to the beach in Old Lyme, Connecticut. He was always ready to go out to eat and always wanted to go to any restaurant that had Keno. He enjoyed relaxing in his backyard that he had adorned with his “Buddah” statues. Raul was known for his kindness and generosity to his family and his friends and despite his disabilities, he was a fun loving guy who enjoyed life. He leaves his loving father, George S. Nemphos of Springfield; his loving mother, Darlene A. (David) Wilmarth of Scotia, NY; his dear sisters, Erica David of Scotia, NY, Amanda Coryell and her husband, Richard, of Johnson City, NY, and Danielle Wilmarth of Scotia, NY; his two cherished nephews and his cherished niece, Aiden Curtis and Lucian Wilmarth and Jade Roy; his cherished grandmother, Ann Nemphos of Reading, MA; his dear close friend, “Auntie” Sharon Wiggins; and his many dear, uncles, aunts, cousins and his large extended family. Raul will be sadly missed by his feline companion, his beloved cat, Lou C. Furr. Raul was predeceased by his loving grandparents, Steve Nemphos and Concepcion and Roberta David.
