Obituary

Susan M. Proulx, 66, of West Warwick passed away on Monday, July 12, 2021 at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston after a brief stay there. She was the daughter of the late Victor “Arthur” Proulx and the late Edith F. (Chauvette) Proulx. She was born on September 10, 1954.
Susan grew up in Coventry but lived most of her life in West Warwick on Plante Court where she owned her home for 40 years.
Susan was a very hard worker, dedicated to more than one job at a time for most of her life. She was a part-time hostess for Cowesett Inn and Nino's as her children were growing as well as various full time jobs through out the years coinciding with waitressing and hostessing. Her most recent jobs before retiring were for Vishay in Warwick and a registered CNA.
Susan leaves a daughter Melisa Moone of Connecticut; a son Derrick Moone and his love Kristen Brooks of West Warwick; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren, all of whom she loved deeply.
She was the sister of Wayne A. Proulx and his wife, Hazel of Connecticut; Gail Hardink and her husband, Gary of Coventry, and Sandra Boudreau and her husband, Jeffrey of Warwick.
Susan was cremated at Saint Michael Cemetery in Boston with the assistance of Casper Funeral and Cremation Services. A private blessing of her ashes was held recently. In her memory of her, we know Susan would just ask that her family and friends live each day to it's fullest and surround yourself with the ones you love, as often as you can.
Her family would like to thank everyone for the outpouring of love and support they have shown and the kind words they expressed about how wonderful our Sue was to them. She truly was a giving person. Our hearts will be forever filled with the love she gave to all over her lifetime.
