WORCESTER___Russell J. LeBalanc, 92, of Worcester, died Friday April 7 in Radius Healthcare Center. His wife, Marion J. (Campbell) LeBlanc died in 1998.
He leaves five daughters, Geraldine L. Hoose and her longtime companion Robert Roche of Millbury; Annette K. Mitchell and her husband Eli of Charlton; Christine F. Bahde widow of Louis Bahde of Shrewsbury; Janice E. Sokol and her husband Steve of Worcester and Jeanne M. Bates and her husband Richard of Worcester, with whom he made his home, 18 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, 11 great great-grandchildren an numerous nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by a brother, Robert and by a granddaughter, Susan Sullivan. He was born in Leominster, a son of Frank and Frances (Gaudette) White and had lived in Worcester more than 60 years.
Mr. LeBlanc was a machine operator 34 years for Norton Co. and retired in 1975. He was a member of the Norton Retirees Club and was a former member of the Englebrekt Club.
The private funeral was held Monday April 10 at 11:00 a.m. in DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton St. Burial was private in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
