Antoinette M. (D’Arpino) McGrail, formerly of East Bridgewater and Plymouth, MA passed away at home in Sarasota, Florida on August 5, 2021 at the age of 101.
Antoinette was the wife of the late Robert J. McGrail, Sr. and was predeceased by her son, Robert J. McGrail, Jr.
She will be lovingly remembered by daughters Mary McGrail, Kathleen Gordon and her husband David, Elizabeth Wilkinson and her husband Dale, son Michael McGrail and his wife DeeDee, daughter-in-law Cheryl McGrail, grandchildren Sean McGrail, Meghan (McGrail) Holmes, David Pratt and Ross Pratt, great- grandchildren Robby and Gavin McGrail, Colby and Mia Pratt, and her sister Rosemary Baggia. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Antoinette, affectionately known as Toni, loved to spend time quilting, creating other beautiful needlework and gardening. She received numerous awards for her quilts, was the founder of Sachem Quilters of East Bridgewater and a charter member of the New England Quilters’ Guild.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday September 14, 2021 at the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 @ the rotary) Whitman, from 9:30-10:30 am, followed by funeral Mass at 11:00 am at St. John’s Church in East Bridgewater, with interment at St. James Cemetery, Whitman.
