Concetta Simeone, 98, of Cherry Hill Road, Johnston died Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence. She was the widow of Antonio Simeone.
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Leonard and Josephine (Cipriano) Comella. She had lived in Smithfield before moving to Johnston.
She is survived by her son, Donald Simeone and his wife, Jean of Johnston, her grandson, Donald Simeone, her great grandchildren: Katelyn and Christopher and her sisters: Teresa Lowe and Dorothy Brodeur both of Smithfield. She was the mother of the late Edward Simeone and sister of the late Frederick, Leonard and Anthony Comella.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at 10:30 am from the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Rt 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11am in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville. Burial will be in RI Veteran’s Cemetery, Exeter. Visitation Tuesday morning, 9:30-10:30am.
