Edward J. McCabe, of Virginia Beach, VA, formerly of Charlestown and Malden, died on July 28, 2021 at age 85. One of 9 children of the late Edward and Marietta McCabe. Survived by his sister Doris Flynn of Medford, sisters-in-law Peggy McCabe of Malden, Brenda McCabe of Holden, and Norma McCabe of Jacksonville, NC as well as many nieces and nephews. Ed was a 20-year Navy veteran and an 18-year federal civil service employee. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden on Saturday August 28, 2021 at 10:00 AM. Services will conclude with interment Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Immaculate Conception Parish , 10 Fellsway East, Malden, MA 02148 c/o the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
