Brianne “Brie” E. Boisselle, age 25, passed away on Aug. 11, 2021. She was
born in Springfield and was the daughter of Brian and Tracy Boisselle. Brie was a
graduate of Chicopee Comprehensive High School, Class of 2014. She was also a
graduate of Elms College, class of 2018. In Brie’s short life and in light of her opposition
defiance and outspokenness she had the opportunity to hold many jobs including Petco,
Taco Bell, Cumberland Farms, McDonald’s for one day, and MedExpress. Eventually
Brie found her home at Mercy Hospital where she worked as a PCA, telemetry monitor,
and when she completed her degree, a Mental Health Counselor. Recently, she had
studied abroad and was continuing to work towards a degree in the medical field. She
made our lives brighter with her dimpled smile, colorful personality, inappropriate jokes,
horrible karaoke, and contagious laugh. She was blessed to be part of an amazing softball
family throughout her high school years where, despite the best efforts of Coaches Kelly,
Deb, and Kerri, she was unable to gain any actual speed but could hit bombs for days and
amuse her teammates in between at-bats. She loved her pets, Wally, Tina, Margaret, Fred,
and Peter. Her most favorite times with family were spent at York Beach, Maine where
she enjoyed visiting Goldenrod, Hawaiian Jim’s, and the candy shop at Perkins Cove. She
leaves her loving parents, Brian and Tracy (Deslauriers) Boisselle of Chicopee; her
younger brother Tyler “Ty” and his girlfriend Katie; her “Grammie Lou” of Agawam; her
“Gram” Mary Eileen Boisselle of Chicopee who loved her up to Holy God’s heaven; her
“Grandpa Ron” Deslauriers and his wife “Grandma Jo” of Chicopee who will miss their
“Princess”/“Banana Head”. She is predeceased by her “Pepe” Gerald Boisselle, her cat
Ethel, and dogs Buddy and Max. She also leaves her aunts and uncles, Bruce Boisselle
and his wife Denise of South Hadley, Mary McCoullough and her husband John of South
Hadley, Kevin Boisselle and his partner Amy of Hadley, Cheryl Boisselle (Godmother) of
Ludlow, Mark Deslauriers (Godfather) and his wife Jen of Agawam, Derrick Deslauriers
and his wife Michelle of Agawam, and Drew Deslauriers and his wife Christina of
Chicopee. She will be remembered dearly by her cousins, Martha “Mart” (Evan),
Christopher “Chris” (Jose), Rachel “Rachey” (Travis), Alishia “Lulu” (Paco), Kelsea
“Kels”, Jenna “Jenna Bean”, Dylan “Dill Pickle”, Marissa “Rissa”, Joshua “Josh”, Mya,
Rosemary “Posie” Jorge & family, as well as extended family members from Massena,
New York. Brie was loved by her best friends Amira, Eli, Meg, Sarah, and many others
she encountered along the way including those abroad in St. Vincent. We will forever be
grateful to all those who shared in our love of Brie. She was a bright light in our lives and
will be missed every minute of every day. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, August
21, 2021 from 2:00 – 5:00 PM followed by a service from 5:00 - 6:00 PM at the Grise
Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee. Memorial donations may be made to the
softball program at Chicopee Comprehensive High School. Please make checks payable

Athletics, 617 Montgomery St, Chicopee, MA 01020. Anyone who has taken a trip to
Brie’s Facebook page knows she had a strongly held belief regarding the COVID-19
pandemic. In honor of Brie please get a COVID-19 vaccine and “wear a damn mask.”
