Obituary


Raymond J Camburn III, age 62, beloved husband and father and grandfather passed away surrounded by his loved ones in Boston at Brigham and Women's Hospital on August 11th, 2021 following a long courageous battle with cancer.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 30 years Sandra Camburn, beloved daughter Sara Dean (Timothy) of Wilbraham, Son Jason Libardi (Stephanie) of Springfield, daughter Tanya Camburn of N,Y adoring granddaughters Kayla, Emily, Brooke, Brittany, Julie, and 3 great-grandchildren, brother Lawrence Camburn of Bronx, NY, sisters Marylou Murphy (Arthur) of FL, Ellen Thompson of Long Island, Aunt Carmen Juaregui of FL, nephew Christoper Murphy (Jenna) of North Carolina.

He also leaves behind his many beloved fur babies.

He was predeceased by his father Raymond Camburn Jr and his mother Rita Julie Camburn (Toro) of Bronx,NY and he was recently predeceased by his daughter Kelly Libardi of Springfield.

Raymond was a proud veteran having served in the United States Army. He had a 35 year career at the United States Postal Service.

He was known to all for his hard work and dedication. Ray was always ready and willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. He was dedicated to protecting and providing for his family. He was also known for having that great head of hair.

Ray is irreplaceable to his loved ones. He will be sincerely missed and forever loved. Ray's strong loving presence will live in our hearts forever.

There is a private family memorial planned at a later date for Raymond but donations in his name are welcomed at the T.J. O'Connor Animal Control and Adoption Center where he adopted some of his beloved pets and The American Chestnut Foundation to help bring back the American chestnut trees. Ray had fond memories as a child growing up in New York City and eating roasted chestnuts from the street vendors.
