Obituary

Rita M. (Hebert) St. Peters, 99, died Sunday, March 26, 2006, at Auburn Life Care Center. Her husband of 67 years, George H. St. Peters, Sr., died in 1996 She was born in Rumford, Maine, daughter of George and Mary (Belliveau) Hebert. She was a member of St. Joan of Arc Parish, Friendly Folks at Our Lady of the Rosary, and volunteered at St. Martha’s Guild for many years. She is survived by a daughter, Dorothy M. Johnson of Fayetteville, NC; 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 5 great great-grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by a son, George H. St. Peters, Jr., a daughter, Barbara M. Wentworth, and a sister, Edmay Hebert. Funeral services will be held Wed., April 12 from Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St., with an 11:00 a.m. mass at St. Joan of Arc Parish, 570 Lincoln St. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
