Jose Viveiros Cabral. Age 83. Husband of Belmira (Arruda) Da Silva-Cabral and the late Mariana Da Silva. Residence 2446 Highland Ave., Fall River, Ma. formerly of 700 Shore Dr., Fall River, MA. Died Wednesday at the Catholic Memorial Home. Born in Capelas, Sao Miguel, Azores. Son of the late Manuel de Viveiros Monte and the late Joane Augusta de Reis. He was a Fall River resident for 12 years; previously he resided in Swansea. In Portugal he was a Home supply Salesman. He was a member of St. John of God Church.
Besides his wife of Fall River, he is survived by Three Step-Sons: Carlos Da Silva of Swansea, MA, Luis Silva of Clearwater, FL and Duarte Da Silva of Swansea, MA. Three Step-Daughters: Leonilde Pavao of Warren,RI, Natalia Da Silva of Swansea, MA and Merces Trinidade of Bristol, RI. One Sister: Maria Luisa de Reis Viveiros Medeiros of Canada. Twelve Step-Grandchildren and Sixteen Step-Great Grandchildren and Several nieces and nephews. He was also father of the late infant Miguel Viveiros Silva-Cabal.
His funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, 1521 No. Main St., Fall River, MA. on Saturday at 9:00 A.M.followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. John of God Church, Brayton Ave., Somerset, MA. at 10:00 A.M. Internment in St. Patrick Cemetery, Somerset, MA. Calling hours Friday 5-8 P.M.
