Obituary

Francis P. Barrett,90, formerly of 16 Fourth Ave., died Wednesday,
Apr. 5 at Quaboag on the Common in W.Brookfield.
He leaves a sister Myrtle B. Ledoux of Spencer, several nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by brothers Edward and Daniel Barrett and sisters Beatrice
Robator, Dorothy Thibodeau and Marilyn Fontaine.
Mr. Barrett was a forging tester in the lab at Wyman Gordon Co. in
No.Grafton where he worked for 35 years, retiring in 1980. He was a Navy
veteran of WWII and a former member of the Gaudette-Kirk Post 138 American
Legion. A former member of the Spencer Fish & Game Club he was an avid
sportsman, golfer and bowler. He enjoyed spending time at his "camp" in
Newburgh, Me.
Born in Southbridge, he was the son of Francis and Angelina (Benoit)
Barrett.
The funeral will be held on Saturday, Apr. 8 from the J.HENRI MORIN & SON
FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of
the Rosary Church, 7 Church St., Spencer. Burial will follow in Worcester
County Memorial Park, Paxton. A calling hour will be held on Saturday, from
8:30 to 9:30a.m.in the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to
Quaboag on the Common Patient Activity Account, 47 E.Main St., W.Brookfield,
Ma. 01585.
