Obituary

John E. Jandreau “Jack” of Stoneham, formerly of Somerville passed away peacefully on August 2, 2021 at home in Stoneham, surrounded by his loving family. He was 57.

Jack was raised in Somerville and lived there many years before settling in Stoneham. Jack loved the sea and anything to do with being on the water. He was a licensed captain and commercial fisherman. Whenever he could he got out on the water and fished. He had a reputation for finding where the fish were, so many people followed Jack around so that they could get in on the action. He loved being with people and sharing his enthusiasm. He often chartered his boat for fishing trips. He was generous and fun loving, always ready to share his bounty with others. A big sports fan, he was devoted to his family and friends and especially loved time with Andrea, together since 2002.

The beloved husband of Andrea A. Giordano, Jack was the devoted son of Ronald and Marguerite (Drinkwater) Jandreau. He was the brother of Denise Young and her husband Jerry, and Cheryl Shea. The son-in-law Ann and Joe Giordano, Jack was the brother-in-law of Lisa Kelly and her husband Charlie, Patricia Giordano, and Patrick Giordano and his wife Shalana. Jack is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and especially his cousin Kelly Crowther.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit with the family at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Monday, August 9th from 10 Am – 12 Noon followed by a graveside service at Oak Grove Cemetery, 230 Playstead Rd., Medford.
