DUDLEY - Gina Marie Abysalh-Brassard, age 37, passed away on Sunday, August 1, 2021. Born on February 21, 1984, she was the beloved daughter of George C. and Nancy J. (Stenvall) Abysalh. Gina was born and raised in Dudley, MA and was a graduate of Shepherd Hill Regional High School. She went on to earn a Master’s degree in early childhood education from UMass Amherst.
Gina had a passion for teaching and worked at Mason Road Elementary School where she was loved by all her students. Gina was an incredibly kind and loving person with a larger-than-life personality. You could not help but smile when she walked into the room. Gina was a devoted and loving mother and enjoyed life to the fullest. She was also an avid horse lover and advocate of all wildlife.
Besides her parents, Gina is survived by her cherished daughter Nadia Marie Brassard and her father Ryan Brassard. She leaves behind her two older brothers, Jason G. Abysalh and his partner Kristen of Chelsea, VT and Jonathan C. Abysalh and his wife Kristina of Bolton, MA. She was affectionately known as “Auntie Gigi” to her nieces Emma, Zoe, and Molly Abysalh. She will be dearly missed by her Aunts Janice L. Romano and Sally J. Geanis and by all her uncles, cousins, and friends.
The funeral will take place on Thursday August 12th, 2021 at 11:00am at Saint Anthony of Padua Church, 24 Dudley Hill Road in Dudley, MA (please meet at church).
