Harold Raymond Bennett, 72, of Valdosta passed away Saturday, July 31, 2021, at his residence. A private funeral service and burial will be held for Mr. Bennett at a later date.
Born April 22, 1949, in Lenox, Mr. Bennett was the son of the late Myrtle Bennett-Blizzard. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Cynthia Bennett; one brother, Ronnie Bennett; and one sister, Patricia Bennett. Before retiring, he was a security guard for Saft America, Inc. in Valdosta for 22 years. He was a veteran of the United States Army and he was of the Baptist faith. He loved his family; he was very outgoing and loved people.
Mr. Bennett is survived by one daughter, Carla Bennett of Valdosta; one brother, Charles Bennett of Valdosta; and two grandsons, Preston Dannel Bennett and Patrick Raymond Bennett.
