Obituary

Glencliff-Paul Albert Boudreau, 92, of 393 High Street, Glencliff, formerly of First Street, Belmont, died Wednesday morning, April 5, 2006 at Cottage Hospital in Woodsville, NH.

Born in Cambridge, MA on January 3, 1914 he was the son of the late Jarvis and Anna (LeBlanc) Boudreau. Paul was raised and schooled in Cambridge, MA. He had lived in Quincy and Marshfield, MA for many years, relocating to New Durham, NH after his retirement, and then moving to First Street, Mallard’s Landing in Belmont, NH in 1986. He had been a resident of Glencliff for the past 2 years.

Paul was employed by Boston Edison in Boston, MA as an Electrician prior to his retirement in 1975.

Paul truly enjoyed helping others in anyway he could, there wasn’t anything he couldn’t fix. He loved the water, always living near a lake, as well as going to the ocean. He loved to sail and enjoyed jet skiing until he was 86. He also enjoyed shooting pool. Paul was on the Association Board of Mallard’s Landing in Belmont.

Paul was a former communicant of St. Joseph Parish in Belmont, and a member of the Electrical Workers Union.

Paul was predeceased by his wife Lillian M. (McDonald) Boudreau in 1995, a daughter Judith Bocchino in 2003, and a brother James Boudreau in 2005.

Survivors include a son, Ronald P. Boudreau of Manchester, NH, a sister, Mary Belanger of Barefoot Bay, Fl, 7 grandchildren, Ronald Boudreau of TN, Paul Boudreau of Franklin, NH, Kim Emond of Tilton, NH, Debbie, Michael, Robert, and Christina Bocchino all of MA. 6 great grandchildren also survive Paul.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday April 8, 2006 at St. Joseph Parish, 96 Main Street, Belmont at 11:00 am. Burial followed in New Riverside Cemetery, Alton, NH. A visitation will preceded the mass from 9:00-10:30 am at the Simoneau-Paquette Memorial Home, 139 Church Street, Laconia. Family and friends were invited to attend.
