In Brockton, Joseph E. Guillemette, age 64, passed away in Good Samaritan Hospital on July 27, 2021 following a lengthy illness. Joseph was born in Taunton, the son of the late Francis & Julia (Berthier) Guillemette. Joseph attended Taunton schools and resided in Taunton most of his life. He enjoyed golfing, visiting Foxwoods Casino, going to Cape Cod, spending time with his family, cooking at the VFW and above all cherished his time with his beloved Grandchildren. Joseph is survived by his daughter Amy Leonard and her husband Eric of Stoughton, his Grandchildren; Carter Joseph and Charlie Anne both of Stoughton, his siblings; Richard Guillemette of Taunton, Francis Guillemette and his companion Donna Main of Fall River, John Guillemette and his wife Maria of Taunton, Julie Cumbus and husband Wayne of Taunton and the late Craig Guillemette. His former spouse and friend Susan DeMello of East Taunton. Joseph also leaves several nieces and nephews and many friends. Visiting hours will be held at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, MA 02780 on Saturday, July 31, 2021 from 2-4pm. Funeral services are private at the request of the family.
