FALL RIVER – Maureen Barboza, age 74, a lifelong resident of Fall River, passed away on Monday, July 26, 2021 at home. She was the daughter of the late Joseph M. Barboza and the late Evelyn (Souza) Barboza.
Prior to retiring, Maureen had worked for SANTORO Mfg. as a Machine Operator.
She leaves behind her only surviving sister, Geraldine Vadeboncoeur of Swansea, her niece, Karen Perreira of Fall River, and her great niece, Alexis Vadeboncoeur of CA, along with several more nieces & nephews. Maureen was the sister of the late Nancy Carrier and the late Patricia Ferreira.
Following cremation, family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael’s Church on Wednesday, Aug. 4th at 10:00 a.m. Interment will take place in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River. Arrangements are under the direction of the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River, MA.
