Worcester – Eleanore V. (Santangelo) Ruddell, 91, of Worcester, passed away on Sunday, July 25, 2021 in CareOne of Concord.
Eleanore was born in New York, NY daughter of the late Carlos and Josephine (Catalano) Santangelo. She is survived by her son, Michael Ruddell of Worcester; three grandchildren, Gina Ruddell, Kristen Devault and Michael Ruddell; two great grandchildren, Wes Devault and Mia Devault; a niece, Linda Santangelo Mosley and a nephew, William Santangelo.
Ms. Ruddell worked for many years as a switchboard operator for the Metropolitan Water District of Hartford. Eleanore loved to spend time with her family, she enjoyed playing bingo and when she was younger Eleanore enjoyed traveling, especially taking cruises.
Calling hours will be held from 5 to 7 PM on Friday, July 30, in the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. Worcester with a prayer service at 5:30 PM during the calling hours.
