We regretfully announce the passing of Patricia J. (Hudson) Deshon, 83, of Medway, Massachusetts. She passed peacefully on July 24th, 2021 after a long battle with Lymphoma and Covid-19.
Patricia leaves behind her husband and best friend of 63 years, Frederick “Fred” Deshon, her two loving children Cathie York Crawford and her husband Vincent Crawford; and her son Daniel Deshon, her granddaughter and partner in crime, Ashley York and her fiancé Cody McAllister, the lights of her life, her four great-grandchildren; Liam, Brynlee, Jaxen and Finn, not to be forgotten her two grand dogs; “Jax” and Wilbur, Pats wonderful cousin, Eileen Mcgaro and her closest friend and unofficial sister, Judy Baer. Pat also leaves behind her “big brother”, Robert Hudson and his wife Sandra and many nieces and nephews.
In 1954 she met “Fred” and together they went on to have two children and one granddaughter. Family came first for Patricia and it was a value she instilled upon all around her. She was a wonderful and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a kind hearted and fun loving person and enjoyed sharing lots of laughs with family and friends. She especially enjoyed her time on Peaks Island, Maine where she and Fred shared many memories with their family and “island family” at their summer cottage and sailing Casco Bay on “The Gopher.” She was loved by all who knew her and will be missed by many.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Saturday, July 31st at 10 a.m. in the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St. in Medway (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com). Burial will follow at Lake Grove Cemetery in Holliston.
Calling hours will be held on Friday from 4 - 6 p.m.
