Obituary

Francis B. "Franny" Wallace II, a lifelong resident of Charlestown, entered into eternal life suddenly on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston from complications due to Nonalcoholic Steatohepatitis "NASH" . He was 46 years of age.

Franny was born in Boston on June 25, 1975, a son of Donna M. (Nadeau) Wallace and Francis B. Wallace. He grew up in Charlestown and was educated at St. Anthony's Parochial School in Somerville and graduated from Don Bosco Technical High School in Boston in 1993. Franny has been working for the M.B.T.A. for over 20 years and held positions as a Collector, Inspector, Driver, Motorman and for the last 10 years as a Yardmaster. He was a member of the M.B.T.A. Carmen's Union Local # 589. In his spare time, Franny enjoyed his fantasy football with his friends, building Legos with his nephew and was a devout history buff and enjoyed the trips to Gettysburg with his Dad. Family was an important aspect in Franny's life and he enjoyed all the many special occasions spent with his mom and dad and his brother and sister.

Franny is the loving son of Donna M. (Nadeau) Wallace and Francis B. "Fran" Wallace. He is the devoted brother of Keith Wallace and Sharon Wallace. He is the dear cousin of Christopher and Erin Kelleher. He is the beloved grandson of the late James and Noella Wallace and Louis and Marie Nadeau. He is the beloved nephew of Glenn and Chantal Nadeau, David and Marge Nadeau, Linda and Bob Smith, Diane and Chet Ferreira, Louie Nadeau and Pauline O'Brien, Jimmy and Christine Wallace, George and Elaine Wallace, Eddie Wallace, Tommy Wallace, Mary and Bobby Davenport, Kathleen Wallace and the late Marie Nadeau. He is also survived by his special Lego building buddy cousin Xander Nadeau and his many other loving cousins and the late Amanda Nadeau. He is also survived by his beloved dog Blaze.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Franny's Funeral on Thursday, July 29, 2021 at 10 A.M. from The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown followed by his Funeral Mass in St. Francis De Sales Church, 313 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown at 11 A.M. His burial will be private. His visiting hours will be on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 from 4 to 7 P.M. in the funeral home.
