Obituary

Robert Anthony Ciarlone “Bones” of Medford passed away on July 20, 2021. He was 85 years old. Robert was the beloved husband of the late Ann-Marie (Stack) Ciarlone. Born in Cambridge, he was the cherished son of the late Antonio and Concetta (Pasceuto) Ciarlone.

Robert was a Korean War veteran, serving in the United States Marine Corps from 1954-1957. Prior to his retirement, Robert worked for the Cambridge Department of Public Works. He was also a member of Warren Pals of Cambridge.

Robert was the loving father to Anthony Ciarlone and his wife Shannon of Medford, Deborah Davis and her husband Earle of Burlington, Robin Murphy and her late husband Michael of Tewksbury and Linda Spangler of Lowell. He was the adoring grandfather to Brendan, Ryan and Evan Ciarlone, Nicole and Daniel Davis, Kristen Cappello and her husband Stephen, Derek and Alice Murphy, Robert J. Ciarlone and Steven and Scott Spangler and the cherished great- grandfather to Christopher and Chloe Cappello. Robert was the loving brother of Frank Ciarlone and his wife Anna of Stoneham and Lucille Tedesco and her husband Edward of Burlington and the late Angela DeCillis and her late husband Francis of Winchester. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held in the Dello Russo Funeral Home 306 Main St. MEDFORD, on Monday, July 26 from 9:30-11:30AM, followed by a funeral service in the funeral home beginning at 11:30AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Robert’s name to the Disabled Veterans.

Services will conclude with interment in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
