Ora (Fournier) Ciras, 95, of Worcester died Saturday, July 17th at home surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her husband, Vitty P. Ciras in 1993. She leaves her seven sons, Ronald of Worcester, William and his wife, Robin of Quinebaug, CT, Steven and his girlfriend, Debora Herlihy of Milford, Thomas and his wife, Jane of Charlton, Joseph and his wife, Terry of Westminster, James and his wife, Laurie of Whitinsville, and Paul and his wife, Michelle of Skaneateles, NY; a brother, Raoul of Cumberland; and two sisters, Leona Allard of Pawtucket and Aline LeBlanc of Warwick. She also leaves 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by four brothers, Odias, Robert, Roland, and Raymond; and a sister, Connie.

She was born in Providence, RI to the late Albert and Alexina (Frechette) Fournier and lived in Worcester for 70 years. Ora was an avid card player and loved to travel. She loved camping, fishing, hiking, and participating in other outdoor activities with her family. Ora once climbed Mt. Chocorua in her wooden Dr. Scholl sandals to be with her family. A longtime member of Our Lady of the Angels Church where she was active in the Mothers Club and bowling league where she once bowled a perfect 300!

Her funeral is Thursday, July 22nd from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main Street. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
