Eileen M. (O’Neil) Shunamon 58 of Quincy, MA, beloved wife of James R. Shunamon and mother of Joshua D. Shunamon, passed away at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center Boston at 8:05 AM on July 14, 2021 after a difficult but thankfully brief battle related to a combination of illnesses she has suffered over may years.
Eileen was preceded in death by her parents Francis and Virginia (Walsh) O’Neil and nephew Paul Hanley. In addition to her husband James and son Joshua she is survived by her brothers Michael and Mark O’Neil, and sister Maureen O’Neil Hanley as well as many nieces and nephews.
Eileen also had many close friends who she kept in contact with on a regular basis.
She was deeply loved by all and will be forever missed.
In accord with Eileen’s wishes there will be no wake or funeral, but a Memorial Mass will be held for her at St. Jerome’s Church, 632 Bridge St, North Weymouth, MA 02191 on Monday, August 9th, 2021 at 9 AM.
