Obituary

FALL RIVER – Leonard J. Cornman, age 82 of Fall River, passed away on Saturday, July 17, 2021 in the comforts of his own home with his loving family by his side. Born in Rose City, MI, Leonard was the son of the late James M. and Ruth Porter (Atkins) Cornman. Leonard was the beloved husband to Cynthia (Arruda) Cornman for 14 yrs.

Leonard was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. Prior to retiring, he had worked as a floor man for Duro Textiles.

In addition to his beloved wife, survivors include his children, the late Marianne Cornman and Christopher Cornman (wife Kristen) of Fall River; his two grandchildren, Jocelyn Medeiros and Deion Cornman; and one great-grandson, Luke; half-siblings; nieces & nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Leonard’s memory may be made to Beacon Hospice, 182 N. Main St., Fall River, MA 02720

Leonard’s funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River, MA. on Friday, July 23rd with visitation from 10 am - 12 pm services in the funeral home.
