In Boston, July 14, 2021 Janet Marie Prairie daughter of Robert and Barbara (Medeiros) Prairie died with her family by her side at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston at the age of 48. Born in Taunton Janet was a graduate of Bristol Plymouth Regional Technical School in Taunton class of 1990. Janet was a sales coordinator for Sysco Company in Plympton. She enjoyed visiting casinos, dining out, swimming and she cherished her family especially her beloved grandchildren. Janet was the mother of Jason Prairie and his partner Breana Couto of Swansea. Loving grandmother of Jayden Robert and Camden Matthew Prairie both of Taunton. Sister of Karen Prairie of FL, Shelly Castle of Taunton and Kimberly Prairie of Taunton. Loving Companion of Keith Lowther of New Bedford. Calling hours will be held at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home 70 Washington Street in Taunton on Monday, July 19th from 5-7 PM.
