Kathleen Ann (Costa) Baumgartner, 78, of Fairhaven, passed away unexpectedly surrounded by family on Monday, July 12th, 2021.
She was the daughter of the late Louis D. and Mary (Pauline) Costa. Born and raised in Fairhaven, she lived there all of her life.
She worked as a nurses aide, and loved caring for the sick and elderly. She enjoyed cooking healthy meals, playing bingo, and picnics. Kathleen was very active in the community organizations at Fairhaven Village.
Survivors include her children, Lee Baumgartner and his spouse Douglas Brady, of Fairhaven, Christine Thome and her husband Frederick of Crystal Lake, IL, and Rhonda Arruda and her husband Joseph of Fairhaven; two sisters, Joan Elias and Linda Santos; her grandchildren, Seth Baumgartner and his wife Gabby, Marisa, Julia, and Nicholas Thome, and Rylie Baumgartner; great-grandchildren, Noah and Everly Baumgartner.
She is predeceased by her siblings, Louis Costa and Patricia Audette.
Her Funeral Mass will be held Monday, July 19th, at 10AM in St. Mary's Church, Fairhaven. Burial will be private. Visiting hours are Sunday, July 18th from 3-7PM. For online guestbook and directions, please visit www.saundersdwyer.com
