Delia Eva Carideo of Natick died April 2, 2006 at her home. She was 95. Mrs. Carideo was born in Boston and was the daughter of the late Dominic P. and Adeline (Gilli) Nicolotti. She was a resident of Natick since 1959. She was a former member of the Aristos Club and a life member in the Sustaining Fellows Program at MIT. And the Emma Rogers Society. Mrs. Carideo graduate from Girls High School in Boston and went on to the New England Conservatory of Music where she studied piano under Frank Stuart Mason, composer and pianist of international repute. She also studied under the tutelage of Alfred Devoto and Felix Fox. She was associated with the Boston Edison Company in a public relations capacity prior to her marriage. She will be missed by her loving cousins, nieces, nephews, caregivers and friends. She was kind and caring and a lover of animals and supporter of all their charities. She will be remembered for her great spirit and sense of humor.
She was the beloved wife of Biagio “Bevo” Carideo, who died in December 1992. Sister of the late Carl Nicolotti and Maria Spriano.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 477 Washington St., Wellesley on Thursday at 10:00 AM. Funeral mass in St. Paul’s Church, Wellesley at 11:00 AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours on Wednesday 5-8 PM. Interment in St. Michael Cemetery, Roslindale.
