Larry Willie Gray, 75, of Tifton passed away Monday, July 12, 2021, at Tift Regional Medical Center. His funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 14, 2021, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Joseph L. Crumley officiating. Mr. Gray will be laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 13, 2021, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Mr. Gray’s family members will serve as pallbearers.
Born November 26, 1945, in Tifton, Mr. Gray was the son of the late Daniel Lloyd Gray and Jennie Mae Bell Theus Gray. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Leroy Gray and Ernest Gray; and one sister, Rosa Mae Barnes. He was retired from the construction business and was also a veteran of the United States Army.
Mr. Gray is survived by his wife, Christine Hancock Gray of Tifton; two sons, Robbie Griffin of Tifton and David Cason of Florida; two daughters, Kim Rodriguez and Susan Griffin, both of Tifton; one sister, Arma Jean Gray Bentley of Tifton; his grandchildren and their spouses, Amanda Torres, Ricardo Alcala, Jose Brena, Joseph Brena, Samantha and Keith Hayes, Ashley and Tracy Hale, William Watson, Brittany Watson and Alexis Pitts; 21 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
