Obituary

Brian T. Sullivan, June 23rd, 1964 – July 8th, 2021, Age 57, of Wellesley, Massachusetts passed away peacefully at home after a long and courageous battle with cancer. At the time of his passing he was surrounded by his wife of 25 years Gina M. (Corticelli), his three sons Brandon M. Sullivan, Private First-Class Collin B. Sullivan (USMC), Robert L. Sullivan, and his in-laws, Louis and Luciana Corticelli, all of Wellesley.

In addition, he leaves behind his siblings; Kevin and his wife Sheryl Sullivan of Milford, MA, Rosemary (Sullivan) Hills and her husband Richard of Holliston, MA, Gerard and his wife Roseann Sullivan of Hampden, MA, Patrick (Jr.) and his wife Cindy of Laconia, NH. He is predeceased by father Patrick (Sr.) and mother Margaret.

Brian and Gina raised their children in the town they both grew up in, and he was loved by everyone he met, often nicknamed “The Mayor of Wellesley”. He always greeted everyone with a huge smile and wave, and his laugh would light up every room he walked in. Brian was an avid fisherman and loved to travel, especially to Loon Mountain in Lincoln, New Hampshire to fish and spend time in the outdoors with his family. He was the Senior Vice President and Branch Manager of the Wellesley Middlesex Savings Bank, where he was employed for eighteen years and established many loving relationships with co-workers and members of the community.

He bravely battled cancer for twenty-four years with dignity and strength. He was a true warrior and was loved by all. He will be greatly missed.

Visiting hours will be held Monday, July 12th at George F. Doherty and Sons Funeral Home 477 Washington St. Wellesley, from 4:00 – 8:00pm. Funeral from the funeral home on Tuesday, July 13th at 9:00am, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Paul's Church at 10am. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery, Needham.
