Obituary



Antonio “Tony” Palladino of Medford passed away on Thursday, July 8th. He was 90. Born and raised in Bonito, Avellino, Italy, he was the cherished son of the late Guiseppe and Concetta (Maffeo) Palladino.

Tony was the epitome of a hard worker. He was the perfect example of having a strong work ethic. Tony was dedicated to his family and taking care of them was his main priority. His world revolved around them. He enjoyed spending as much time with his family as he could; just recently celebrating his 90th birthday surrounded by his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. It was a joyous day.

Tony was known to just show up at anyone of his children’s homes puttering around fixing odds and ends. He had a natural green thumb and enjoyed gardening. His flowers were constantly blooming and he always had an abundance of fresh vegetables to share. Tony was a devoted husband, a wonderful dad, the best Nonno, friend and neighbor. He will be missed by all.

Antonio was the beloved husband of the late Luigia (Barletta) Palladino. He was the devoted father of Carmen Palladino and his wife Susan of Lynn, Gerard Palladino and his wife Gabriella of Stoneham, Joseph Palladino and his wife Kim of Stoneham and Rita Imbriano and her husband Michael of Lynn. He was the loving Nonno of Jennifer, Cristina, Jessica, Gerard Jr., Anthony, Leeann, Nicholas, Joseph, Christopher, Giuliana and Gemma. He was the caring Great Nonno of Aria, Luke, Jake and Lilliana. He is also survived by his brothers and sister in Italy, and many loving nieces and nephews.

Antonio’s funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, on Tuesday, July 13th at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours on Monday from 4 to 8 PM. Services will conclude with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.

In lieu of flowers contributions made be made in Antonio’s name to the Alzheimer's Association, 309 Waverley Oaks Road, Waltham, MA 02452
