James J. "Jimmy" Houltine, 54, of Groton, lost his courageous battle with cancer Wednesday, July 7, 2021. Jimmy was Born May 24, 1967, in New London, the son of Jean G. and Carl S. Houltine.
He grew up on Jupiter Point in Groton, and attended Fitch Senior High School. Jimmy was a talented artist and musician; and he was always ready with a joke.
He leaves behind his brothers, William R. Livingston III (Pamela) and Kirk N. Houltine of Groton; a sister, Gail L. Rusby (Jeffrey) of Fairfax, Va.; two nieces, a nephew, several cousins and an extended family of lifelong friends.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
