Irina Grigoryeva

Irina Grigoryeva, 81 years old, passed away on July 7, 2021. She was born on April 15, 1940 in Baku, Azerbaijan, the daughter of Ishkhan Galustyan and Yevgeniya Arutyunova. She graduated from dental school and worked as a dentist for many years in Baku.
She remains in the hearts of her son Michael Gregory, daughter-in-law Karina Gregory, and her grandsons , who have brought great joy to her life as Irina always took care of them, took them to afterschool lessons, taught them Russian, and how to cook.
In addition to her professional career, she had other hobbies. She was a great seamstress and a great cook.
Irina was loved by many people in Russia and in Boston, and was always very supportive of her family.
Even when she worked as dentist, she was liked by her patients and wouldn’t charge people in need. In spite of her coming to Boston in her 50s as a refugee herself, she was able to establish a new circle of friends, always helping and giving heart to other people.
Funeral service will be held at Holy Trinity Armenian Apostolic Church, 145 Brattle Street, Cambridge on Saturday, July 10 at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Burial will follow at Saint Patrick’s Cemetery, 999 Belmont Street, Watertown, MA.
