Mary Ann Powers, 68, passed away under the full moon June 24, 2021. Her death was sudden, from cancer, that was diagnosed only weeks before. She was surrounded by love at the home of Jimmy McNulty and Raife Menold who opened their hearts and home to Mary Ann. Her care crew was with her during her last days providing peace and comfort.
Mary Ann first made Provincetown her home in the late 70’s. Here she grew her healing massage therapy practice, WONDERFUL HANDS and her massive group of chosen family. To a person, Mary Ann’s love, support and kindness is mentioned over and over.
Mary Ann will be remembered by so many, including her niece Emma Jeanne Fillion, Beau Fillion and Molly and Cody Benjamin. Her devotion to them alone is a testament to a life of “showing up”.
A gathering to celebrate Mary Ann’s life will be held in Provincetown on Sunday September 19, with further details to be announced.
