WESTPORT – Cynthia Freitas, age 68, passed away peacefully on July 7, 2021 at home, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of John Freitas. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of Arthur and Jeannette (Poirier) Audet.
Along with her husband she is survived by her children John Gonsalves (wife and caretaker Suzanne) of Westport, Jeannette Borges (husband Armand) of Fall River, Tonya Medeiros (husband Mike) of Swansea, Arthur Bosse (wife Leanne) of Fall River and Richard Bosse (wife Sandy) of Fall River. She was predeceased by her son Raymond Gonsalves and brothers Raymond and George Audet. She was also the grandmother to Johnny and William Gonsalves, Jaydon and Kevin Borges, Ricky Gonsalves, Alexys, Trevor, Sasha, Madison and Arthur Jr. Bosse, Austin and Nicholas Silva, Michael Medeiros, Cynthia, Devin, CeCe, Courtney, Zachary and Myka Silva.
Private funeral arrangements were under the direction of Manuel Rogers Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St. Fall River.
