Obituary

Ralph H. Hadlow, 93, of Anderson, passed to his Heavenly home on Monday, July 5, 2021, at Bethany Pointe following an extended illness.

He was born on October 12, 1927 in Cleveland, Ohio, the son of James W. and Emma C. (Peterjohn) Hadlow.
He was employed by New York Central Railroad, Pennsylvania Railroad, and Conrail Railroad as a maintenance of way for 46 years, retiring in 1990.
Ralph also served United States Army in WW II and was stationed in Alaska. He was well known for having a large garden and loved working in his yard. He was a devoted member of Central Christian Church, where he had served as chairman of the board, and elder and on the finance committee.
Ralph is survived by his wife of nearly 64 years, Jo Anne L. (Hotzel) Hadlow; two daughters, Carol (CJ) Edgecomb, Cheryl Hadlow; two sisters-in-law, Phyllis J. Smith and Nancy Hadlow; brother-in-law, Bernie Steenson, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Ruth and Jean, and two brothers, William and James.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 9, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Central Christian Church with Pastor Rick Vale officiating. Entombment will follow at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service at the church.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital
