William was born in Framingham and worked his life as a contractor, learning most of his skills from his father and working for him at a young age. He moved around a lot, but planted his roots in Framingham where he lived with Sara. If you knew Bill, you knew how much he loved sports. As a child, he played little league and hockey; his favorite athlete was Larry Bird. He loved to watch football on Sundays and loved all things Boston: The Bruins, Red Sox, and Patriots.

Despite his struggle with depression and alcoholism, William loved his friends and family very much. He was charming, loving, and loyal. William was loved deeply by many and will be greatly missed.
