SPENCER: Jeannette I. (Collins) Bouley Moore, 89, of 195 Main Street died peacefully Monday, June 21 in Quaboag Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center after an illness and surrounded by her family. She was predeceased by her first husband and true love Charles L. Bouley and her second husband with whom she shared 20 joyful years with Thomas Moore.
She leaves a son; Joseph Bouley of Spencer, six daughters; Carol A. Mascroft of Spencer, Christine M. Magnone and her husband Alfred of Spencer, Jane A. Amirault and her husband James of Leominster, Joyce A. Michaud and her husband Edmund of Auburn, Maine, Cheryl A. Wood and her husband Sean of Spencer and Claire S. Rainville and her husband Robert of Sutton, a brother Ronald Collins and his wife Joyce of Blanford, 17 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and a great great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers; Roger and Francis Collins, a step brother Frank Ford, a sister Claire Kibbe and a grandson Michael J. Rainville.
Jeannette was born in Spencer, daughter of Alexander F. and Corinne G. (Dufault) Collins. She owned and operated Spencer Pizza for many years. She was a talented artist and belonged to the Massasoit Art Guild for many years. She enjoyed music, played the violin, and sang with the Melody Makers for several years. In her younger years, she and Charlie played in a local band and enjoyed archery together. She bred and raised Afghan hounds, enjoyed horseback riding, loved camping and going to the beach. She was a longtime yoga instructor in Spencer. She was a member of Mary, Queen of the Rosary Parish. Her faith and family were very important to her. She was especially devoted to the Virgin Mary, our Blessed Mother.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, July 15 at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 7 Church Street, Spencer. Burial will follow in Mary, Queen of the Rosary Cemetery, Spencer. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Second Chance Animal Services, P.O. Box 136, East Brookfield, MA 01515. J.
