In Taunton, Esther M. Sokolski, Age 77, passed away in Morton Hospital on June 20, 2021 following a brief illness. Esther was born in Fall River, the daughter of the late Richard & Harriot Wing.
Esther was a resident of Fall River and had resided there most of her life. She attended Fall River schools and was a graduate of Durfee High School. Esther worked as a home health aide and also a school crossing guard until her retirement. She enjoyed sports, watching the Red Sox, playing bingo, and above all cherished her time with family.
Esther is survived by her son John Sokolski and his wife Cristen of Raynham. She leaves her grandson Brent of Raynham, sister; Sandra Horan of Fall River, her late siblings; Claire Kerrigan and Elizabeth Mancuso and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Fall River at a time and date to be announced.
