Helen Louise Curry, 66, died June 14th at Yale New Haven Hospital.
Helen was born in Torrence CA and has also lived In Louisville KY, Summerville SC, Groton CT and Ocala Fl before moving permanently back to Connecticut. She was the daughter of the late Willian T Curry Jr and Marlene Newman Curry.
Helen will be deeply missed by her brother William T Curry III and his wife Heidi of Clinton CT, her sister Margaret Curry of Lancaster OH, Maureen Reardon of Ocala FL, Steven Reardon of Stonington CT and Jim Reardon of Cottonwood UT. She was predeceased by her youngest brother John E Curry of Groton CT. Even though Helen had no children she was a lover of cats and treated them like her kids. She will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, Aunts and Uncles.
Helen loved traveling to Amish country to buy furnishings for her home and was an avid Christmas ornament crafter.
Helen was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints in Madison CT where she had many friends. A Celebration of Life service will be held at the church on Saturday June 26th at 1:00 and burial will be privately done at the Maplewood Cemetery in Norwich CT.
