Obituary

Adam P. DeStefano of Medford passed away on June 19. He was 37 years old. Born in Boston, he was the cherished son of Catherine Anne “Cathie” (Bucca) DeStefano and her husband Mark Brown of Medford and Paul Arthur DeStefano of Medford.

Adam was employed as a customer service representative in the telecommunications industry. Adam was a 2001 graduate of Medford High School and played the position of catcher for the high school varsity baseball team. He was a coach for the Medford Babe Ruth League and was a member of the St. Joseph Basketball Program. Adam enjoyed golfing and was a member of the Canterbury Woods Country Club in Canterbury, NH.

Adam was the beloved brother of Katie DeStefano and Chris Belkner of Stoneham, Donlyn Cannella and her husband Sandro of Woburn and Jennie Brennan and her husband Tony of Medford. He was the loving uncle of Tyler Lucey and Cash and Jett Brennan. Adored nephew of Marie and Mark Marini, Kris and Jim List, Claire DeStefano-Mitchell and Peter and Deb DeStefano. Adam is also survived by his cousins Danny and Kevin Marini, Melina List, Sherilyn and Jillian DeStefano and Nicole and Derek Mitchell.

Visiting hours will be held at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, on Sunday, June 27, from 4-8PM, with a service in the funeral home beginning at 7:30PM. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend.
