Robert F. Mills, Jr., age 75, a lifelong resident of Dorchester, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 18, 2021 at the home of his daughter in Norton.
Born in Dorchester, MA on May 7, 1946, he was a loving son of the late Robert F. Mills, Sr, and Alberta M. (Bello) Atwood.
Bob grew up and was educated in the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston. During the time of the Vietnam War, he proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy for six years.
For many years, Mr. Mills worked for the MBTA in Boston and retired as a Forman. He loved spending time with family, was a member of the Polish American Club in Hyde Park, enjoyed playing golf and was an avid sports fan; especially traveling to watch his late son play football.
He was the devoted father of Lynn M. Mills of Norton and the late Robert P. Mills and Joann M. Medeiros. He was the cherished grandfather of Danielle M. Smith of Norton. He was the dear brother of Donna Atwood of Florida.
Services and burial will be private and visiting hours are omitted.
